At Judhar Vet Group, we’re supporting the Royal Flying Doctor Service in a strange and wonderful way - by selling copies of Dr Herbert Rebhan’s book, All Things Strange and Wonderful: My Adventures as a Vet in Africa.
Dr Reb, our principal veterinarian at Arundel Vet Surgery, has generously donated 275 books for our eleven clinics to sell for $20 each, with 100% of proceeds going to the RFDS.
His remarkable stories from his time as a young veterinarian in Africa capture the spirit of compassion, adventure, and service that also drives the Flying Doctor across the vast landscapes of Australia.
Every book sold helps keep the Flying Doctor flying, providing life-saving care to people living, working, and travelling in rural and remote Australia.

My impact
So far, my fundraising could help…
Provide a full range of life saving medication such as sedatives, pain relief and antibiotics so the Flying Doctor can be ready for 33 emergency situations.
Send 17 life saving-medical chest to remote communities
Provide one on one counselling to 10 outback Australians during a difficult time
Purchase 7 pieces of equipment that could include ventilators, defibrillators and infusion pumps which are used on board flights
