DALBY ROTARY FLYING DOCTOR CHARITY RACEDAY

By Jane Grieve

Let’s soar together! Help me raise funds to keep the Flying Doctor flying.

The Rotary Club of Dalby's RFDS Charity Raceday is a major social and fund- raising event in support of the fantastic Royal Flying Doctor Service.

The Royal Flying Doctor Service responds at a moment’s notice to help in medical emergencies for people living, working, and travelling in remote, rural and regional areas in Australia. They rely heavily on public support to continue this vital and unique service.

Last year alone, the RFDS reached more than 330,000 Australians with 24-hour emergency retrieval and primary health care. That’s one person every two minutes! What an amazing tally!

The Flying Doctor is always on call to help and save lives, and that’s why our Rotary Club in Dalby is conducting our annual raceday again - raising funds to help the RFDS to provide the finest care to the furthest corner.

Tickets for tables at the raceday can be obtained closer to the time through Try Booking. Details of sponsorship can be obtained on application to Rotarian Jane Grieve (Convenor) on 0417 196910. Meantime, your tax deductible donations all add to what we intend to be a magnificent tally.
