From 21 April to 21 May, we invite you to take part in 30 for Ollie - a challenge to walk, run or ride each day for 30 days while raising funds for the Royal Flying Doctor Service.
30 for Ollie is a month long fundraiser dedicated to the 30 days Ollie fought for his life during a battle with sepsis.
On the 21st of April 2024 Ollie developed a kidney infection which deteriorate rapidly leading to sepsis. The RFDS flew Ollie to more advanced care where he was given the best possible chance of survival. Without the RFDS getting Ollie to the advanced care, he would have unlikely been given the best chance of survival. Unfortunately Ollie succumbed to his condition on the 21st day of May surrounded by his family.
By coming together in his memory, we hope to honour his life, support a vital service and ensure Ollie’s legacy continues to make a difference for families across Queensland.
However you choose to move, join us and be part of 30 for Ollie.
